Are You Worth The Plunge?

There shouldn't be fear of commitment when you know he/she is the one.

That is what I would like to think or believe in.

When you love someone there is no feeling of doubt and hesitation but only willingness to commit yourself to that person.

You are contented being with that person and no longer need to seek for someone else cause he/she is more than enough.

There is no need to search for other options cause you know the search is over the moment you found them.

There is a feeling of excitement over this new chapter of your lives. You look forward to new memories, fun experiences and memorable moments you'll be sharing.

The condition that comes with that commitment no longer scares you but makes you feel secured by the fact that he is yours, and you are hers.

The only question is are you worth the plunge or not?

So next time someone says they're afraid of commitment, it just means you're not.

Someday...One Day!

“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you.

When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.

There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever.

Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby.

Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon.

You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you.

You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”

We Find Hope in People

I accompanied my mom today at Fr. Suarez's Healing Mass and an incident really caught me.

There was this old couple sitting on the next row to my seat probably in their 60's. The lady had brace in her neck, the same type that PGMA had before and his husband was sitting next to her. Then I noticed that their hands were locked into each other. It was the sweetest thing I saw at a church. It's as if the husband was saying, "be strong, we can do this..am here for you. You'll never have to go through this alone, for I will be with you."

What made my heart melt and even got me teary-eyed was when the husband stood up and leaned over to give his wife a kiss on the lips. Yes on the lips, in public. Like he was declaring to the whole world how much he loves her. Even though his wife couldn't reciprocate that kiss he just went for it.

This I think is the reason why people still hope and believe that a love as great as this still exists. A love that stays strong even in the toughest circumstances. A love that will help survive and overcome all the hardships and pains. A love that is so true and would really last a lifetime.

Thanks to those 2 for reminding me of all that.

It was a Good Friday Indeed! :)

Have you ever had that feeling of having a hangover from a certain event / day in your life? You keep on rewinding back the conversations, remembering facial expressions and smiling like crazy every time memories of it pops into your head.

At first I was kinda nervous, I did not know what to expect. I was thinking if there were things we would talk about or would there just be dead air most of the time. Yes, we've had a good conversation before but there was alcohol involve so that doesn't really gauge if we do get along. You know how alcohol can instantly light-up a conversation.

But It was just a perfect day, having great conversation about life, love and business over coffee then continuing it over dinner as if you don't run out of things to talk about. In the middle of those talks he does simple things and surprising gestures that makes you smile. He cracks a joke once in awhile that makes you laugh and some heartfelt stories as well that makes you go.."awwww." Everything was spontaneous, I could sense that he wasn't trying or making an effort to please me it all just came naturally.

Every girl wants to be respected and treated as a princess and he did just that. Just when I thought that gentleman guys are non-existent anymore, he proved me wrong. Opening doors for me, getting me a tissue when I accidentally spitted a jelly because I was laughing over his story, serving food on my plate, lighting my cigarette for me, going down the car with a small umbrella that only one can fit so that I won't get wet (he ended up getting wet instead) and got out of the car and walked me to the house to say goodbye. Oh, he din't even try to kiss me, just made beso and hugged me, that for me was the best thing he did.

It was too surreal, that sometimes I wonder if any of it was true. I even thought that he might have read my blogs that's why he knew what I wanted a guy to do for me but he doesn't even know I have one. It's been awhile since I was out on a date, well I'm not really sure if you could call it that way but I must say this was one of the most unforgettable one. I'm not sure though if there's gonna be a part 2 but at least I've experienced how it is to be treated well. That in spite of knowing a lot of men who are assholes and rude there's still that guy who thinks that I deserve to be treated with respect and am never gonna settle for less than this on my next one.

Till now I still smile whenever I recall memories from that day. :)

You Make Me Smile! :)

Completely unaware
Nothing can compare to where
You send me, lets me know that it's okay
Yeah, it's okay
And the moments where my good times starts to fade

You make me smile like the sun, fall out of bed
Sing like bird, dizzy in my head
Spin like a record, crazy on  a Sunday night

You make me dance like a fool, forget how to breathe
Shine like gold, buzz like a bee
Just a thought of you can drive me wild
Oh you make me smile

Even when you're gone,
Somehow you come along just like
A flower pokin' through the sidewalk crack
And just like that
You steal away the rain, and just like that.

Let's Runaway!

There are days wherein I just want to run away from all this stress and drama.
Leave everything behind and just go wherever life takes me.
And today is one of them.

Take me away from here.
Take me to a place where it's serene and happy.
To a place where I could take a breather and live a life that's truly my own.
